Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Have you ever found yourself reacting in ways you don’t fully understand—doing or saying things you wish you could change, but can’t seem to stop?
Maybe part of you is constantly striving, trying to get everything “right,” while another part feels exhausted, disconnected, or unsure of who you even are underneath it all.
These experiences can feel confusing and lonely—but they make more sense than you think.
In Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy…
We begin with the understanding that there isn’t something “wrong” with you. Instead, there are different parts of you—each with a role, each trying to protect you in some way. Some parts may push you to perform or stay in control. Others may shut things down, avoid, or numb out. And often, these patterns developed for very good reasons.
The challenge is that the same strategies that once helped you survive may now be keeping you stuck.
IFS offers a different way forward.
Instead of fighting against yourself, we work to understand and connect with these parts—so that you can begin to feel more calm, clear, and grounded. As this happens, you’re no longer controlled by these patterns. You begin to feel more like yourself again.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, reactive, or disconnected, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken.
There is another way to relate to yourself, and we can move toward that together.
